Unknown to most of humanity, vampires and werewolves have lurked in the shadows of civilisation for longer than anyone can remember.These stories follow the adventures of Arcane, a small hunter group in the south of England. They strive to protect the unwary - all while dealing with personal issues of their own.

Arcane Introductions
It's the summer of 2007. Sandra's plane has just touched down in England as she prepares to start her hunting career. Though planning to work solo, her journey leads her to meet several people who will become incredibly important to her life.Arcane Revelations
By 2015, Arcane has fully established itself as a hunter group, but problems of a more personal nature are rearing their ugly head. Truman's quest to avenge his sister might be coming to an end, but not in the way he hoped. Meanwhile, a growing threat forces Sandra to call in outside help.Arcane Generations
As the decade draws to a close, Sandra begins to focus on training new talent and securing Arcane's future. It's the end of an era, but not the end of everything.

Hampshire Hunters is a light urban fantasy with elements of horror, romance and slice-of-life. The stories focus heavily on the relationships and struggles of the main cast. Background

Hampshire Hunters, AKA "Hunters", "VH" and "Arcane", is a series of loosely-connected episodic short stories following a supernatural hunter group based in Southern England.It had its origins in late 2015 in a story I began writing on DeviantArt; however, the characters were very much prototypes back then and hardly resembled their current selves. The first appearance of the characters in a recognisable form was in 2016, in a story that was never published anywhere.My original intent was to write a novel about the Hunters, but after about 8 attempts (not an exaggeration), I shifted my focus to something more relaxed - a collection of short stories, telling Arcane's story in a more accessible way. Reading the "Introductions" arc first is recommended to understand the setting, but many of the others can be read out of order.
